What to Expect during your New Patient Visit


You can expect your first visit to be a little bit different than the typical dental office visit.  For one thing, we minimize paperwork.  Most of your registration and check-in process can be completed on-line by clicking the links above.  If you are unable to fill out the forms online, we do recommend that you arrive 15-20 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to fill out paperwork and to account for the traffic and ever-changing construction near our office in NW San Antonio. This will allow more appointment time to be given for your dental care.   


 We will start of with x-rays.  Your full set of comfort digital X-rays will be taken from outside the mouth using the latest digital X-ray technology to ensure the lowest dose of radiation possible without placing any film in the mouth, in most cases.


After X-rays, you will be escorted to a comfortable plush leather chair with a massage built into the back.   We will do all of your charting on the computer and then perform a full head and neck exam.  We dedicated plenty of doctor time to answer all your questions.  You will be given a comprehensive treatment plan along with a few alternative options.  All procedures and fees will be explained as plainly as possible.  We will be happy to meet with you again to provide clarification before proceeding.
